Honda CRM250 Mk1. Bought it about six months back, cost me £650, probably spent close to that again. Used it about ten times or so. Fitted new taper headstock bearings, new fork seals. Changed all the fluids, brakes, forks, gearbox, coolant. New bottom end, supplied by Leisure Trail, the guys who imported them, consisted of - new rod, crank pin, big end, small end, main bearing and seals. Also new throttle slide, and I geared it down very slightly for a better off road bias and a new O ring chain, but it still goes very well on road and I'm told they make a good Supermoto if that's your thing. New enduro style road legal tyres. Put a CR500 seat on coz the original had been lowered. Then the piston seized the other week. Sent it and the barrel to Leisure Trail and they reckoned it had been rebored by someone who didnt realise that the power valve had to be relieved, so it was rubbing on the piston causing it to overheat. So, new piston, rings, small end again and rebore.
